One Day Argolis

Drive along the coastal road to Mycenae; the kingdom of Agamemnon, the king who led Achilles and his troops into the fabled Trojan War. Mycenae is considered to be one of the richest Bronze Age Sites in Greece.
Further excavations of Mycenae by the famous archeologist Heinrich Schliemann yielded great treasures, including what some believe to be the gold death mask of King Agamemnon himself. Traveling briefly through Argolis we'll reach Greece's 1st Capital, Nafplio, where we'll have a bite to eat and some time to explore this beautiful town before departing to Epidaurus.
Epidaurus was a celebrated healing center of the Classical World. Patrons from all over the known world would find themselves spending the night in giant sleeping halls as they waited on the god of healing (Asclepius) to advise them on what to do to cure their ailments. Make your way to the ancient theater and take a seat. The theater at Epidaurus is known, even to this day, for its perfect acoustics and its being able to accommodate up to 15,000 spectators!

The guide was nice and spoke very good English. The tour covers two very interesting archeological sites. The only thing was that we had 30\' in Epidaurus to explore the wide area, but wasn\'t possible in 38C heat at 3 o\'clock!
